Not strictly a gaming keyboard question this, but has anyone scaled down from a full size keyboard to a compact one for all day use?

I'm looking to bring my mouse close to the keyboard, but am clueless as to how much difference it would really make.

Recovering from an elbow operation so any experience would be much appreciated.

Can't see me living without arrow keys though

Didn't go down to a "compact" but went for full to TKL (I need the arrow keys!) maybe abit of a compromise?, was a good move, got a Logitech G915 TKL, best keyboard I have bought (came from a Corsair K70)

Yeah I think I'm going to have to, on a bit of a downer thinking I'm going to struggle with anything to be honest. Wouldn't mind I've used PCs for productivity and very very little gaming for the last 12-15 years for that reason!

Go with a TKL, keeps most of the functionality needed, saves some space and also has standardised keycaps. If you ever want to replace or upgrade your keycaps when it comes to UK ISO layout it's far easier with a standard layout than some of the shrunk/mini layouts 65~75% can have.
