Compact recommendation with widest lens?

I have the LX3 and as stated already it is a very good compact camera. Image quality far exceeds most compacts out there.

The zoom range is tiny but suits my needs from the camera, be sure you can live with the range. If you can, it is a fantastic camera in my opinion.
 
@Oxy I shoot with a Canon dSLR + and LX3 so should be fairly non-biased between the two brands. [I'm going to ignore the Fuji as I've not had any contact with their cameras so I can't really comment]

Personally I'd go with the TZ7 as Panasonic seem to have the best compacts out atm imo, although it sounds like any of the 3 would be an improvement :p [No offence]

I haven't looked at prices recently but if you can get a TZ7 in your budget I'm very jealous :p
