Compact switch recommendations?

I'm in need of a replacement compact 8-16 port switch to replace a Meraki unit I've had in use for a few years.

After nothing fancy, ideally silent/passive cooling, poe would be handy but not necessary, I didn't end up using vlans last time either.

I've been bitten by going cheap on this front before, stuff needing reboots, overheating etc. so would prefer a nod toward some that were proven

It's a good spec, but you've got me thinking of why I have an aversion to TPLink kit

Not used their switching gear but have had poweline adaptors eventfully fail, and a router with big limitations under load. That was a long time ago now mind.
