Company Car

My house mate got a promotion at work today and has been offered a company car which a budget allowance of 3174 per year (264 per month)

After looking at cars for low emmisions for the BMW 1 Series, 118dm has CO2 emmissions of 119/km which results in the benefit in kind as 574 per year. the company lease scheme, means they pay for everything insurance, mot, servicing etc.

has anyone got an idea what the monely cost of a 118dm 3 door would be per month? the car is around 22k new. Work have said if the car you choose is beyond the 264 a month limit, he can pay the extra

If the lease isn't subsidised, about £300-£450 a month unless he's doing high mileage.

See what the price comes back as first but often the cash is better.

I'll be amazed if he doesn't hate it in 6 months time when the 'Got me a pickup truck' novelty wears thin.

Thats a really crap attempt at an insult, you should have tried harder. The point is vaguely there but it doesn't make sense. You should have kept it under your hat until you could slip it in somewhere relevent.

Unless you do really do get the feeling that you are bored of your pickup truck every time you read a post by me

Try thinking happy thoughts, alternatively make use of the forums flawed yet reasonably effective 'ignore' system. That way you can post pictures of failed head gaskets in threads about Rovers without being aware of your hypocrisey
