As long as you have what the MSM means underneath he has no legal right to ask you to change the name...Contact 1 or 2 of the other MSM places and just politely ask if they have received a letter from 'such and such' and see what they say...Then if he replies back and says he has contacted them aswell, just let he know you have spoken to them also and he hasn't.

Try contacting Companies House for more advice matey.

Up to you but I know what I'd do.

Firstly, don't communicate with him at all for now.

Second. Check if he's registered using the IPO search and advice service. I've searched and can't find him.

Then register MSM yourself.

I suppose you could always skip the second step.

Register MSM yourself as a TM, then contact him and kindly ask him to stop using your trademark, registered 2008 for MSM.

:D

Evil - but genius.

If you're writing back to him, please make it nice, with capital letters and that. He'll take more notice.

I concur.
I would also get some professional legal advice as well, your banks business manager might be able to help (for free ;) )

I wouldn't send it. It doesn't solve the problem, does it?

Discover the facts yourself. Then, if it isn't registered ignore him, tell him to go swizzle or register it yourself.

But establish the fact of the matter before doing anything else. Delete your email.
