Okay, this might sound stupid, but why can I only play as one team on CoH Opposing Fronts? I thought the expansion included two more teams so there should be 4 to play with, no?

Yes that's right.

You can play as the Americans, Brits, Wermacht and Panzer elite.

The campaign you have to do it as the Brits and then Germans.

And the skirmish mode is unlocked for which team you like to be. I don't really like play as the Brits in skirmish mode as they have very limited abilities or maybe Iam doing something wrong.

If you click on the bottom half you select move to this side and then you can select the Wermacht or panzer elite by changing thier little flag icons.

I.e

Where it says CPU-Normal I think it either left click or right click on it and then the options menu comes up.

Then you slect move to this slot and just change the flag accordingly.

I Wish I knew, I cant even get this game to install, the gameinst.exe just crashes every single time I try to run it! :(

Do you mean when you stick the cd in and it autoplays with the screen comes up with the install action it fails from there?

Have you tried manually opening up the cd with explorer and trying to find the setup.exe and try running that?

I have the Disc one. Tried setting it to compatibility modes of all sorts and turning off advanced text services, tried on different accounts, even tried ripping it. Nothing worked :(

ever thought about selling it and just getitng hte steam version you can get *** first one and the expansion pack for $19.99 now.

I just got it recently even though I had the first one to save hassles as I didn't have to go through the nightmare process which is patching it.

its $19.99 each, or $29.99 when purchased together as a pack.

I recently purchased CoH on steam myself, i already had the expansion on CD so all i had to do was buy the game original game on steam, and simply add the CD key to my account that i was playing the expansion on, and it unlocked the CoH content :)

Considering it man, just a real pain in the neck to go through all that crap for a game to not even install.

Well if you ever get online fancy a game with another noob coh player?

As Dist pointed out correctly it $29.99 for both of them. So it worth considering.

Don't worry, I aint great at it either, more used to big scale games like Supreme Commander. I'll try and get it asap and I will let you know when I do :).

A quick question to the op do u actually have the original? or just the expansion?

if you can only play as the brits but also have the original game then im guessing it hasn't cared for your cd key, go back to the account page and make sure it has your original cd key and has unlocked the original armies. Which should give you access to the americans, and if you move yourself down to the axis side the 2 german teams

when you get to the login screen for it mate, click 'add product' or soemthing like that, then type in your COH key and it'll ask for the disc

it has to register the keys together in one account

if you're having problems, email relic and they can help you out
