Hmm, I saw quite a lot of 2v2 matches coming up in the replay section, and even some 3v3 lasting 2-3 hours before stealth 'commander nuke' (the missile upgrade for the ACU) tactics were used :p

Anyway back on topic, what did you say to THQ this time Kerplunk?

well i played FA and i never really saw any not palyed it in a long time tho.
 
I finally got it working!

Where on the menu screen it says 'Add Product' there is an option to recover my account - I did thism asked me to insert original CD and validate it, and that was it done! :D

All you need to do now is start playing enjoy the game and organise some sort of new players of CoH night, where we can all hop on and have a laugh.

glad you got it sorted mate

best map to learn all skills and abilities on is 'Vire river Valley' block/blow up both bridges and put emplacements and AT guns in the middle

play 2vs2 cpu on the hardest setting (have to rush to block the bridges)

personally i play with..

americans -infantry (rangers rock)
brits -engineers (churchills and extra resources are handy)
germans(not sure which is which, lol) -luftwaffe

if you join any server that has 'high resources' set

choose luftwaffe and you're guaranteed an easy ride :), since they're available from the off, and the fallschrimber (sp?) are amazing too, they're on par with the rangers, and shred through infantry in no time
 
I haven't had a chance to play the game online against real people instead of AI yet, and im not sure if i will ever get arround to it after my experience with other RTS games online. I much prefer bigger battles, like 4v4 instead of 1v1, and the problem with public RTS games is that i always ended up with idiots on my team, or people who disconect before the game is over, basicaly forcing your team to loose as you lack 1 player.

A word of warning though I have only just started to play it so I am very much the definition of noob.

Vire river is a nice map to learn the ropes as it does allow u to hide behind a wall of defence at the bottlenecks... but as soon as you know your way around the game you should stop playing it as it is the worst map in the game and will seriously limit your skill to camping like a little girl instead of playing aggresively like the game is supposed to be played

Fällschrimjager. Never got on with them for some reason, but then I am a bit crap at skirmishes!

that's why i said it's the best map to learn on, there's a huge safety net with that map

plus by the end of the game, it's impossible to move a tank through the river, from all the blast holes in it :p
 
anyone noticed against the AI its significantly easyer if you play axis instead of allies? Not so bad in a 1v1 but in a 2v2,3v3 it is very noticeable to the pioint where i dont have to do much because of my allys. I play all wid expert and the expert ai is a lot better with axis this allies. Infact even with hard and normal they still do pretty well against serposid expert allies. Id like to see 1v1 ai experts i think the germans would win at lesat 4:1 evry time.
