Comparrison of the following gaming mice

If the G5 is anything like the 'Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse' then i can recomend it full heartly.

Feels good and i use it all the time in games, the -/+ sensitive on the fly really helps out and the amount of buttons is good.

Never used the others so cant coment, but the logitec is very good.

I also still use the microsoft commander unit too lol... great bit of kit but unsure if you can still buy this

Its a bit late now, but it would probably be best to get the one which is shaped most like your current mouse. I found thats generally the biggest issue for people when changing mouse.

tbh its up to you and what you use it for :)

For me I feel that the Boomslang I bought made gaming a bit easier feels more accurate and precise. Also the design suits my hand very well so its really comfy to use.

I use it for gaming and photoshop and it's fine :)

Thats good as the death adder seems more like the mouse i used that the G5

Used them all, given choice out of the four; Death Adder, Habu, Copperhead, G5 in that order. Avoid the Kone, mouse wheel breaks far too often.

Agree.

tbh It's personal preference. I've always loved the MS Intellimouse V3 and when a new version was brought out recently I went with that. I've tried Logitech mice and didn't get on with them. I own an MX518 and in all honesty, it's probably the best mouse I own. But back in my Quake playing days I was so used to the Intellimouse shape that I just couldn't adapt to it. I now have a Habu which is very similar to the Intellimouse but with updated Razer internals. I love it.

But it really is personal preference. Try diffent mice and find one you love. Again, back in my Quake days a fellow clan member Q50 used to play with a cheap dodgy mouse and keyboard and he was stunningly accurate. It's what you get used to.

I believe the CopperHead is similar to the Diamondback, which I have.

It took a while (Few hours to get used to) but I still consider it one of the best purchases I have ever made. After getting used to it, those Logitech messes feel clunky and awkward. +1 for Razer.

it was a bit small and gave me hand cramps

rofl! that made me laugh for some reason...

my shout goes for the raptor m1, cheap, good quality, looks good, comfortable, what more do you want?

edit: x518 is far too big, why would you want that ugly monster on your desk?

last week i went from the mx10 which i cant say i faulted one bit, great mouse for price and performance. however it had gotten a fair bit worn after plenty years of gaming.

so i decided to upgrade, i picked up the Lachesis and destructor mat, at first ill admit it felt very weird going from the ergonomic logitech and i was a little out of sorts to the sensitivity of the lazer which made movements so much more precise, but 1 day later id gotten used to the shape and now im loving it, i feel allot more responsive especially in games but even when it comes to double clicking around desktops. the shape is starting to feel natural, the glow kicks ass, it looks amazing. i cant fault it now, oh n the programmable buttons are fantastic.

+1 for Razer, its always going to come down to preference, everybody has an opinion, all we can do is give you our opinion and see if we match up to a similar sense as you.

Because we have man-sized hands?

I guess if it's too big for your girly hands, then the razor mice would be a better option..
