Hey there, I recently decided to upgrade my PC and was wondering if you guys could give me some advice with compatibility.

I currently have an MSI P55-CD53 Motherboard http://www.msi.com/product/mb/P55-CD53.html#/?div=Basic and am using an Nvidia GTX 460.

I was looking at getting an HD7950 but would like your advice on whether or not this is the best option and whether or not it would be compatible with my current motherboard.

Also I am currently using an 800W power supply, would I need to upgrade this also if I was hoping to go down this path.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Firstly, can you remove the competitor link, as it is against forum rules. Just some friendly advice.
Secondly, the mobo and Psu willl be fine with a 7950
Thirdly, the GB WF is better and cheaper.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte ATi Radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3X 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £239.99
Total : £251.39 (includes shipping : £9.50).

Incidently, what make and model is the Psu?

As above, the the card will work with the motherboard.

What CPU are using?

Is you case big enough to accommodate the new GPU length wise?
