Compatibility?

Hi folks, im having some trouble getting a stable system with my geil pc6400 (frequent lock up's) and due to all the issues with this ram and board combo, i was just gonna grab some different stuff, was wondering if this would be ok with my motherboard http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-119-CS

It should be fine.

Overpriced for PC8500 tho.

What settings are you trying to run the GEIL at?

I tried it with the recommended settings and I got the same with two sets on two identical PC's...

As soon as I left it to auto, at 5-5-5-18 and 1.9v on my DS4's instead of the supposed 4-4-4-12 and 2.1v it is rock solid. Apparently the SPD programming was dodgy on a load and it defaults to 5-5-5-18, though it is sold as 4-4-4-12.

Tried the recommended settings and auto, with still no luck, even tho the ram i ordered aint on the qvl list for my motherboard im still gonna give it go
