If you are looking to overclock the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, then I would have a look at getting some PC2-8500 rated memory such as this stuff here since you will be able to take the Q9500 all the way up to 4250MHz without having to worry about if your memory will hold you back or not. Though, that is providing you have a chip that will be able to reach that sort of speed, if your motherboard is capable of reaching such a high FSB and if temperatures will let you go that high.
You could save a bit of money and get PC2-6400 rated memory such as this kit here which will be able to take the Q9500 all the way up to 3.4GHz without having to touch the memory. If you wanted to go higher than 3.4GHz, I'm sure the memory will be able to run past its rated speed. However this isn't guaranteed and nor will you know how much further you will be able to run them past there rated speed.
