thanks. i realised some people wouldnt make the connection of putting the icons on the shelves, my computer on the desk and the recycle bin next to it so i thought i'd better upload one like that

the desk + shelves + room part are from an old picture i used for ages as my desktop background. i assume its a render but i just nicked it from somewhere, theres no way i could make it. the MSI aeroplane poster is a mixture of a blue background, the two MSI logos and the airfix boxart of the harrier. its pretty much a simplified version of my first entry stuck onto another picture

it took me quite a while to make the thing though

hard to compete with people who have skills on rendering etc, as much as it looks cool. Thats like putting a P4 against an i7. Good luck all though.

What makes a rendered image any better or worse than 2D stuff? Nothing :confused:

Give it a go, you might surprise yourself.

Yes renders have won in the past but it might not be what they are looking for in this case.

Was out exploring the moors over the weekend, stumbled across a military firing range, took some pictures and thought 'hmm, these could come in handy for that overclockers competition' lol

The landscape was beautiful, got a bit scared when I came across the warning sign though hahah

I'm a bit of a beginner at image editing, so here's my Gimp effort:

Hmmm not sure. There were loads of sheep about, so maybe its (brown?) wool, or maybe fur from some other animal, or dried grass maybe, or a knotted bundle of fabric, who knows. It does look kinda coconutty though lol

the original was only 1920x1200 so it might be a bit pixellated, but ive put it up anyway
