What's worse are the ***** that can see you've been hanging behind them for the last two miles WAITING FOR THEM TO PULL OVER BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE IN FRONT OF THEM (we aint blessed with three lanes here).

Technically speaking, corsa 1.0 drivers i don't think its possible to go slower..........

In reality, OAPS with a new found love for ethnic peace crisp cars that do 20 billion mpg and produce 0.00012345bhp.

Hate to admit to it, but I'll happily say I undertake if some tool is sat in the outside lane doing 50. It gets the message across, they usually move back in after that.

I do it in whichever gear is the lowest I can use at the time to make lots of lovely smoke too.
 
Worst people who simply won't overtake a police car that is doing 55-60mph in the left lane out of fear/stupidity. Somehow think they are going to pull them over for overtaking them whilst well under the speed limit.

And even when they do, they crawl past them at about 2mph more than the police car as if to say:

"See, i'm passing you safely"

Idiots.

Thats not undertaking, its passing on the inside and is technically legal...

I just cruise past them at an indicated 80. The police will rarely do 70 on the motorway because otherwise no one would overtake them and it would play havoc with the traffic
 
TOS-ers drive at 50 mph because.

1. They can't fill up most HATO vehicles with fuel else they would be over the weight limit if you get to blokes over 15 stone in the front. Flogging a max load 4x4 round the network uses up a lot of jungle juice
2. The HA need to economise to pay for all the managed Motorway schemes next year, or was it for MPs expenses?
 
Those Highways Authority vehicles aren't too bad since you only seen them on motorways where it's easy to pass them. It seems people are finally grasping the concept that they are not police cars.

Does anyone actually know what they do, except for putting cones round broken down cars.
 
It irritates me HUGELY when people slow down to 65mph in ALL LANES for the highway wombles / police cars. Grr :mad:

They're mostly there to assist the police with accidents etc

They do however apparently have some power to stop you but it wouldnt be for speeding and they cant do anything directly - they need to report you to the police
 
there's no real need to even drop to 70 when a police car is in view

unless you're driving like a complete jerk, they generally ignore all cars driving between 70 and 85

I blast past in a van @ 75 on dual carriage ways if its a normal corsa/astra car everyone gives my such odd looks though
