Just been reading the moneysavingexpert forums, and noticed their competitions (and winners) forum..

anyone here do lots of these online competitions?
best wins?
 
It might require a massive change, but I think Arsenal and / or O2 did reverse auctions.

OcUK could possibly do e.g. :

£1000 worth of kit to give away to the winning bidder (entry costs £1, cost to bidder = £1 + £their bid)
50% profit to OcUK and the rest to charity. They could announce they do this quite a lot around the site. I'm sure the charity thing would be good for business, and I can well imagine that there'd be lots of money to make (well over a thousand bids at least)!
 
won a lot of tickets for the itunes live events down at koko recently - it wasn't very hard! Here is my haul so far:

1)hadouken + does it offend you, yeah?
2)roots manuva and sway + jamie lidell
3)lightspeed champion + pete and the pirates
4)script + sam beeton
5)dizzee rascal + calvin harris
6)death cab for cutie + das pop
7)css + alphabeat
8)guillemots + lykke li

obviously haven't gone to all of them (gave 1,2,4,5,7 away to friends) but it suits me just fine!
 
last comp i won was a photography one in dSLR user mag in Jan or march, can't remember which lol. I won a tripod.
 
I won PDC Darts for the Wii. If you look in the "I Won!" thread on MSE then youll see loads of people winning :)
