My Mum went to trade in MGS4 for me on PS3 so I could get Warhammer Online, the woman behind the counter said that the game didn't exist and gave my Mum Warhammer: Mark of Chaos insisting it was the new game.

When I found out I checked the release date, Mark of Chaos came out nearly 2 ******* years ago!!

Rang up and the woman was refusing to give me my MGS4 back and then she tried to make it out as if I was in the wrong, had to go in store and kick off about it, ended up getting my game back, what a JOKE.

Go to the shop, and be calm, if you start mouthing off you will get no where. Just explain what has happened, and if possible ask to speak to the manager.

Yep no worries I got it back easily enough. :)

Though apparently they didn't even have it in their system, bit odd for a big game store I thought, especially as Warhammer has been selling out in other places! :confused:

Well you really shouldn't be surprised that people clueless about games should be working in a games shop, hardly a shocker.
 
i hate competitor, they lied to sell ym a product, and the manger said, tuff **** i said no returns when you bought it, so....

Haha no worries that idea was scrapped, I got word it was in stock elsewhere and popping down there in a mo. :)

In other news, the store in my OP rang me up and I'm now barred from the store and they closed my account. :eek:

Not that I ever really went there though, only been in there once this year and that was earlier, I think I know why though I dropped the F bomb when I was walking out of the store, not to them but just commenting to my Dad how stupid they were.

Agreed, never going to them again. Will be buying online all the time now and if trading in it will be at the Purple shirts!
 
i always go the bit before don't do that, much better, friendlier staff, and one of the blokes there is in my clan for COd4 in Crewe...
