Complaint about drum kit.

My neighbour's (not attached but close) kid plays and they popped around and asked if I would mind before letting him play the first time they also stipulated times he could play and told me those times. I thought it was a very courteous approach and was a good way of pre-empting any issue. I'm pretty relaxed about things anyway and like to be annoying myself from time to time so don't tend to point the finger too much.

Oh the drama!

So I've just had another knock at the door from a different neighbour.

They said some one had called the housing association pretending to be them and made a complaint about the drums. Yep, this is what the area is like around here.

I'm fairly certain she's telling the truth.

So that's, going straight to the housing association without talking to me first AND then pretending to be someone else to make the complaint.

Cowardly *******.

I have just got off the phone with the housing association head who was a bit of a bitch. She said the man who came around yesterday to inform us of the complaint said the kit was VER LOUD even with the silencing pads on. Give me a break...!

She advised me to send a letter, I have wrote this up, could I word it better?

'As you may be aware, I have recently been using a drum kit. The drum kit is fitted with silencing pads which dampen the sound by 80%.

I only practice between the hours of 12 mid-day and 6PM.

If this is problematic for you, please let me know personally.

Many thanks,

Tom
