Complete CoD4 Punkbuster Screw Up

Bottom line is ive been banned from punkbuster for using a AIMBOT, i keep getting kicked from servers for having a aimbot, and ive also been permanent banned from some servers for it,

im totally oblivious to all this, i dont have a clue whats going on, ive left a ticket at even balance but no reply for nearly 3 days now.

there literally robbing ***** making me pay for a new cd key which then is gonna keep doing exactly the same, this is spoiling my whole cod4 game now, i literally can never play cod4 again until this is sorted.

i am also being kicked out of my clan in the next 24hours im proper ****

anyone know what i can do ? is there any phone number to even balance ?

Aparantly there not gonna care what so ever what i ahve to say because there not a as they said ''judge and jury service''

whats strange is when my clan leader showed me the list of user names ive ever had that i apparently hacked under, its EVERY name ive ever used, like punkbuster/activision have been following me from when i first got the game !

No ****, Im not that ****** Stupid. Waste of a game, Waste of money, Waste of time. Seriously only Little retarded children have hacks for new games, who think its cool, and say ''PWND YOU !'' ''DIE DIE HAHA HAXZORZ RULE'' and completely spam the servers with headshots.

its more than likely tracking you by the cdcode which means no matter what name you use it will still be listed.

has anyone else had access to your pc that may have installed a cheat? im assuming it was an automated ban and not an over zealous admin?
 
I got kicked twice yesterday from a server in BF2 saying I had some modifications installed in BF2! I had just reinstalled after 2 years without playing.

I think, personally, PunkBuster sucks.
 
PB is a bag of poop full stop.

Best bet is to uninstall the game, and do a fresh install to a different directory/drive, reinstall PB and let it update and try again.
 
One of the reasons I stopped playing COD4 MP is Punkbuster, it would never let me connect to a server first time. It would just time out repeatedly. PB INIT FAILURE etc. etc.

And by all accounts some cheaters are still being able to play on servers anyway.

PB FAILURE more like.

punk buster is a HORRIBLE system. I've not been kicked but upon installin games where punk buster has had any kind of update i seem to require 15 hours or work to update the damn thing. COD4 online took about 2 hours of trying various ways of updating. You randomly find a little extra application that runs checks version and updates, except that didn't work, can't remember what i had to do in the end.

Why on earth isn't punkbuster a stand alone application that installs properly to its own directory and you can tell it to update all games you have separately of downloading some randomly little application. Its ludicrous that such a widespread anti cheat program is installed separately into each game. Maybe people don't like the idea that if it was a standalone app that ran with all games that maybe it would see you cheat in one game and ban you from others. Simple guarentee that wouldn't happen and then make it a real damn program you can control properly with installed updating tools.

I've got a mate who's been banned for the same violation, if you google the hack code thing you will see the amount of people who have been banned for it. Total **** up by PB but there's nowt you can do, buy a new game if you want to play again. :(
