thats me when it comes to wireless networking can anyone advise whats the best wireless router for me

id be very thankful anyway

Ntl Cable via modem

connecting to

PC - Via rj45 cable into motherboards ethernet
PC2 - Via rj45 cable into motherboards ethernet
XBOX360 - wireless
WII - wireless

i obviously need something with multi ethernet ports on the back, im looking to spend maxium of £50 ish lower the better...

would a Netgear WGR614 G Wireless Router be any good?

That wireless router will do the job fine. I've got oen of those, pritty solid performance. Although there if you want something advance that ain't it.

I'm a big fan of Netgear and it's all I will use.
When I upgraded to the Netgear 834G I also looked at the Linsys.
I nearly fell on the floor at the sorry excuse for a firewall built into the Linksys.
IMHO this was quite bad for a CISCO company.
I've been informed that Linksys have since improved the firewall.
DLink at the time (can't remember the model number) had an issue with the router making a power buzzing noise.
As for the other makes, I've seen too many RMA's raised at work to bother with them.
Netgear products also outsell all the other brands at work.
