Hi Guys,

I might be starting a new job where I will be trained on Linux. However, if I can give myself a headstart and get the general feel for it, great :)

I've downloading the latest Fedora and will install it tomorrow on the other rig, just wondered if anyone had any good links with useful things to learn etc. Stuff like that.

Many Thanks,
Jake :)

Because if it is Red Hat Linux you'll be using then CentOS is exactly the same.
Fedora is often full of crap and untested malarky.

Ah cool.

I'm open to new ideas but I like to have a reason why.

Shall give it a download, cheers dude.

Thanks Oxy. I just spoke to the he said they use mainly REHL or Fedora but they may be moving to SUSE for new builds.

haha cheers. I fear I may be asking many questions over the next couple of days!

Wow thanks fella, thats fantastic :)

I haven't got the job. It's all a big might right now. But its something I want to learn as I've always been interested in it so when the other rig is up and running it'll definately happen :)
