completed bioshock should i skip bioshock2 and move to bioshock infinite?

I enjoyed the first, second I thought was decent and didn't finish Infinite. What I played of it was pretty meh

I'd still give it a go you might like it

I found 2 OK. Nothing special. Infinite was incredible. One of my favourite games ever.

Also I see dishonored has been mentioned in passing. I'll take any chance to recommend that game to anyone!

I would go for 2 before "Infinite" have to say i enjoyed the first two more than infinite but 2 is much like the first which i did not feel was a bad thing.

Would have much preferred System Shock 3 done right than any of them though :).

You can roll your eyes all you want, I'm just pointing out that "average" doesn't tell anyone much of anything at all about the quality of a game. Most of the time it seems like a lazy way of saying you were ambivalent to it.

I enjoyed 2, I didn't really get what am the butthurt was about. I Also enjoyed Infinite too.

LOL, sorry but "enjoyed" and "good" tells everyone about the quality of the game, but "average" does not.

Well done, now if you can just explain how your "good" and "enjoyed" explains more than arc@css when he was saying it was sub par I am sure we would all love to hear it. Maybe you need to look up the word "ambivalent"

I accept your apology.

I said enjoyed, sure, and if asked to expand upon why I enjoyed it, I would have explained my thoughts on the quality of the game.

The difference is, "enjoyed" isn't a metric of quality, and I never suggested it was.

Your comment highlights my issue with "average" as it doesn't mean sub par at all, and my usage of ambivalent was with regards to the correct terminology for "average". If you think average means sub par, you don't understand what an average is.

The apology was my sadness for you not understanding my meaning, glad you accepted. It means you are mature enough to know you were wrong. Now:

Now if you had asked the person who posted it was "average" (arc@css) I am sure he/she would have explained his/her thoughts on the quality of the game just like yourself, instead of attacking that person in question. Lesson learned spoffle.

Now please do not attack other users it is not nice and I am sure you owe arc@css a apology.

Yeah, no.

Lesson learned woffle, funny how that goes with your name and that is exactly what you do.......

Is it funny? What's a woffle exactly?

Also, he wasn't attacked, I made a statement. Unbunch your untercrackers and stop whinging.

A owl though.

More butthurt, great.

There are some nice improvements in the second outing which makes the game more fun to play. Definitely should try it out. I couldn't get in to Bioshock Infinite but I think that was the goddamn awful aliasing on PS3 which pit me off.

I can't imagine it would have been nice at all on PS3. Some decent PCs struggle with it a bit at certain settings, that and the resolution it must have been running at.

I never finished 1, skipped 2 as a result, and consider Infinite to be one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. Subjectivity is funny like that.
