I'm currently thinking about upgrading my existing system which is AMD64 3200, 1gb ram and ATI 1950 pro. In the main I'm happy with my current system, as i given up playing games on it, but its a bit slow when I've tried video editing. It doesn't look viable to upgrade my current system due to the cost of DDR3200 and 939 CPU's. So thinking about an Intel Core Duo system and have come up with
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Intel P35
Intel Core 2 Duo E2160
OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2
How well would this overclock in your opinion and would any suggest some different components. I don't mind spending a bit more but if i spend 10% more i would really want to see 10% or more performance from the system. I would really be interested in alternative motherboard that has built in firewire and ideally two IDE connectors
