Component replacement

Hi all,

I'm posting this because of some excellent advice I received a couple of years ago when I wanted to replace a faulty motherboard. Apologies if I have posted in the wrong area.

I'd some system components, as I'm experiencing performance issues, while hanging on to the remaining ones as listed below.
Basically I need a system for home office, internet, music and a moderate amount of gaming, but nothing too demanding.
Could be woefully naive here but was looking to spend less than £500!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Current system.

Case ATX/ATX Micro
PCI graphics card ASUS GTX 460
Power Supply Corsair 600CX
And to replace

CPU i5 2500K
Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV
2x2GB DDR3 RAM
HDD Samsung HD103SJ

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £434.96 (includes shipping: £0.00)

Something like this should fit the bill given what you're coming from. There's some money left over so you could fit in a larger SSD or a bonus HDD for storage. If you could increase your budget a little you could even slip in a decent GPU upgrade for your gaming purposes.

Not a problem mate.

As I said, if you feel you want a bit more kick for your games you can find AMD 570's for around the £100 mark if you shop about (I'm assuming that's an old Nvidia 460 you've listed).

Regardless I'm sure you'll enjoy the upgrade, hell of a difference to what you were using and should last you at least as long.
