composite input to vga monitor?

Hi guys i didnt find the answer to what i was looking for so maybe some here can help.

I have a composite connection from my phone which allows you to connect to TV to view screen.

Now is there a adaptor that i can use to connect the composite to a my PC monitor which has a spare VGA connection?

Basically, no. The monitor needs separate RGB signals, splitting composite to RGB requires electronics.
cheapest option is probably a TV card on the PC, but then you may as well just transfer the file from the phone and save cash.
Which phone BTW?

i thought so, not really bothered about it just thought it would be nice, nokia n900.
