After many years of not wanting to spend the money upgrading to compression fittings I bit the bullet earlier this year and changed all my fittings to xspc ones.

Now I want to add my gpu into the loop and a new res combo so need to remove several fittings/tubes (soft tubing) and change them around.

Is there an easy way to remove them from the tubing as I had to use a lot of force to do so when I fitted one in the wrong size tubing and had to correct it.

Hold the tubing directly above the collar and undo it the best you can. Even then you will get some fittings unscrewing themselves from the block/res/rad and will have to use a wrench on them. Always wrap the heads of the wrench in masking tape so it doesn't damage the compression fittings.

I should clarify
If managed to unscrew it one end/both ends
And fitting won't come off shove in boiling water
Softens the tubing up
Makes life a lot easier
Same thing works if you want to put tubing
Onto a fitting and its really tight
used to do it in order to fit 3/8 id 5/8 od tube
onto 3/4 quick disconnects

If its in situ in the case
And still connected at both ends
I have a tiny pair of mole grips with flat jaws
I clamp those on the tubing
And pushing downwards a bit
At the same time rotate the grips 90 degrees
clockwise/turn your hand right
Away from the fitting

Or just cut off
And deal with it outside the case
