I've oc'd my b3 q6600 to 3ghz(1.2625v, doesn't go over 70c @ 100% load). I haven't 8h+ prime'd yet, but i have done 5 intelburntest loops, thats a fair amount of stress and it passes that.
My ram is at 1066mhz(dominator pc8500), stock @ 2.1v

Thing is, when playing stressful games, my pc likes to crash, occasionally bluescreen, it doesnt do it when the quad is at stock.
I don't understand how it can handle 13-15 mins of IBT, but then struggle with css and racedriver grid.

If it doesn't crash, then the screen will freeze for a second or so, then carry on.

Gfx is a 260, not overclocked.

Any ideas why it's doing it, or how i can fix it?

Hey zykan,

I do myself use Prime and IBT for initial testing, there pretty much cover a lot of ground testing wise however there is something to be said for in-use testing i.e load up some games and use your PC as normal and see how it gets on.

The old game crash but Prime/IBT stable is possible, maybe add a small touch of vCore and continue testing. If that doesn't work and you tried 1,2,3,4,5 small nudges of vCore (one at a time) then perhaps try the same thing but with the Northbridge chipset volts (vNB), i'd wager that apart from perhaps a flakey PSU then the added vCore/vNB should do the trick! :)
