I need to move my 3 monitors and 2 pcs into Big yellow storage for a few months.

I was wondering if this would have any negative effect on the hardware due to the cold?

Seriously though, covering them might not be a bad idea, you just need to make sure no condensation gets inside your screen/case..

gift wrap them. :)

I wouldn't have thought it would cause any problems. I'd just stick them in cardboard boxes.

If you have large air coolers in your PC's it's worth removing them. If one comes loose while the PC is being moved it'll do an enormous amount of damage.

if it's good storage that temp controlled no problem, if it isn't then when it gets hotter in the day and colder in the night water will form on metal cases and parts and rust will damage anything, if your going to cover it, make sure it can breath, and put some of those crystals in it that absorb moisture and come in little bags

2.5kg Unscented Moisture Trap Refill Crystals £4 won't name make as don't want a slap just incase OC sells them :)
