Computer boot loop - PSU problem

Hey,

I've posted before about my pc boot loop problem coming out of sleep, I now think it's my PSU

I've tried RAM in another PC, works fine
I just tried my mobo with hsf and cpu in with just the 24 pin connector in (Other PSU doesn't have 8 pin, only 4 so I can't put it in) and it doesn't loop anymore.

Would it be possible it's the PSU that is the problem, I've had problems with the PSU before trying to boot, it would whir then die but not loop, now it loops because of sleep possibly?

Could this be the problem??

so u mean u tryed it with another psu?

if yes then yes its the psu 100%

Yes I've tried it with another PSU, just I didn't have a 8pin connector to put into it too.

So it's the PSU...

nah i have issues with coming out of sleep too it happens everytime i go and change something in my pc

anyhow best bet just to hibernate or shut the thing down tbh:

Yeah, now I'm going to just shut it down, safer that way.
