its easy full stop, nowadays things dont tend to fit where they shouldnt etc. Just follow a guide. Or phone up OCUK and ask them for a custom build and they will do it for you, they do lots of custom builds for people.

It will be easier to get an oc bundle, purely as 3 parts are already together.
 
oc bundle is ok,but i,m not sure they fit the heatsink,i think i read in another post that they don,t ship with a aftermarket cooler fitted.

Ok so after much thought I have decided to build it myself from scratch.

Ok so after I have built it and if everything goes well. What software can I use to check every component works well. A stress test?

I'm not going to overclock straight away I'm going to leave it a few weeks to make sure everything is working correctly.

furmark for your gpu

intelburn for cpu or prime95

hwmonitor and coretemp to check temps

memtest for your ram

3d mark, (not sure of latest revision) to benchtest your gpu
 
Another good idea would be to get hold of some old desktop (should be able to get hold of one somewhere) that still works, take the entire thing apart, then put back together and test - if you can get it running then go for the self-build. Considering the amount you're spending on the new build, even if you don't have an old computer, it'd be worth it. I learned through reading and by upgrading the Dell PC I originally had with a new PSU, GPU and RAM, then took it from there.

Oh, and the FT02 is a great choice of case, but is quite heavy. Fantastic for an air-cooled build as the CPU doesn't end up with the GPU's heat. Which is why mine is watercooled. Obviously.

One last thing can anyone confirm that my spec will fit in the FT02 case?
Particularly concerned about the silver arrow CPU cooler as it is quite large.

The manual says that the CPU cooler height limitation is 165mm

As the Silver Arrow is 162.7mm tall, you'll be fine. Just make sure you install the fans to exhaust upwards.
 
To get it at it's rated spec you would need to manually change the ram voltage and adjust the ram ratio thing, as stock 1.5v it should probably default to 1333Mhz.

I've no reason to see why it wouldn't be compatible with a Sandybridge setup, and it may even run at 1600Mhz on 1.5v if you're lucky.

As for building the PC in general it can feel like a pretty hard thing to have to do when you're new to it, but just read a few guides to get a feel for your components and their locations then as said before take your time. Most fiddly bit is wiring the case front panel to the motherboard mainly because the connectors are so small. Everything else should basically just click into place in it's specified connector.

Since I managed to fit my Silver Arrow into my CoolerMaster 690II Advanced (just barely), I don't see why it won't fit in the Silverstone Fortress FT02B as it's bigger...
 
If you want me to build it, i will build it for £25. No O/S Install but will do that for another £15. I will send you the PC Prebuilt to your house via Parcel force 24Hr. So you would pay around £40 for me to build it and send it to you.
