Computer case question

Cool, thanks.

1 more question, is there any reason why you opted for 4gb of RAM instead of 8GB? Is the extra 4GB unnecessary?

It was already over budget before I swapped the CPu and cooler out, never bothered putting more RAM back in to take it back up to £450.

Sorry to revive this thread, but im curious to whether the CD drive i currently have will work.

Also, I have the oppertunity to spend an extra £40 on this built, can I do any better parts-wise with this extra cash?

Thats a "B" grade GFX card with 3 month warranty - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BG-013-HS - is this of any concern to you?

It is sufficient for that, more RAM wont increase the power usage at all, anything more powerful GFX wise will be an issue.

On your average system the card requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit.

Bare in mind the test system used by Guru3D is a more power hungry socket 1366 based system.

That Corsair PSU is one of the best of the cheap ones and the minimum I would consider for that build.
