Hi Overclockers,

I've bought a new computer (see specs in my sig) and was happy about it on the first day I got it, because i had no problems.
Second day I got kinda anoying problem: My PC crashes while im gaming, I can play like 1 hour the first time but after the system reboots automaticly it happens after 10 mins max... So it goes like this: I'm just playing a game talking on ventrilo (didn't overclock _anything_) and then my monitor goes No System Output detected, I stil can my hear my sound for 5 till 10 sec but then it automaticly resets. My temps are OK, CPU 35/40, SYS 40/45, GPU 40/45. The problem isn't my PSU either thats a thing I know for sure, but someone I know said there is a problem with the DFI motherboards having a 64bit CPU or something. Don't know the exact explenation. He said there was a fix for it on this forum, he didn't know where but it was on www.overclockers.co.uk . I've searched for sometime but there are like too many threads on here to find a specefic thing on here.
Is there anyone here that still knows the link to the fix or knows how to fix my problem?

by the way this happens while gaming or running NVidia nTune not while doing things like surfing on the web and watching movies or something

A little update:

I have tried some different drives now:
The drivers I got with my computer parts and the newest drivers avail
Both didn't help

Upgraded BIOS to 310 after and did the same, old and new drivers no help either.

I am able to do full 3DMark05 runs though, I get a score of +/- 7250

I'm getting a little bit ****** off now 'cus I can't find a solution.

Another update:

Tried 3 different PSU's, 350W, 430W, 450W all the same problems.

I've been running MemTest for an half an hour as well too just look if that isnt a problem, and had no problems at all no errors ...

no one knows a solution ??

The selected things are the moments my PC Crashes on the right one of the errors.

The other errors are like things being sended to Starten-besturingselement think its something like Start-controllerelement in english and to being executed
is it like nuking my own pc ?

Ntune should never be used on a Dfi board.

Please see the dfi forums they hevily warn against using it.

They also recomend a decent psu of at least 400 watts .

Please see if your psu meets there specs.

What are you overclocking and by how much.

what are your mem timeings and htt etc?
 
kinda weird though that its on the driver page on the dfi site ...
posibilty of any damage done by nTune ?

my psu = good 450

and as metioned above its all on stock speeds so _nothing_ is oced
 
update:

i've installed different drivers of nvidia 81.85
the system doesnt crash while doing:
3d Mark 05, each test 10 times
S&M, all test on long (80 min CPU stress test and 2 hours RAM stress test)
Super PI, test on 8M

does crash at:
world of warcraft

didnt try yet:
battlefield 2

mayb its a drivere issue for WOW ?
 
Hate to bring it up again, when you seem so dead against the idea, but...

9 times out of 10, if you're getting random crashes on a DFI, and your RAM is running error free, then it's the PSU.
What's the make and model of your 450W?
Is it 24-pin?
Do you have all the auxiliary cables (4-pin ATX, 4-pin molex, FDD connector) plugged in?

I agree with Amps: do not use nTune. It doesn't do anything you can't do with the BIOS, and other Windows apps (for monitoring temps, etc), and it can cause no end of problems. In fact, I'd recommend uninstalling it altogether if you can.

Are you running the latest nForce4 chipset drivers? (Avoid the IDE ones!)
