My plan was to get a Karlby worktop with some Alex drawers but looking at what I have to play with I think drawers are going to take to much space up, I can't do any drilling to the walls for 12 months being as its a new build. I also have a small space I would like to add a worktop so it all blends in. All I have seen when it comes to the Karlby setup is the Alex drawers does anyone have it with legs?

I’m sorry, please forgive me but I edited every instance in your previous thread. I couldn’t let it go again.

It’s ‘drawers’, not ‘draws’.

Sorry to sound daft but why no drilling, just due to movement?

I'm renting from a housing association and they have said it makes it easier for them because the flat comes with a 12 month defect warranty, if I start drilling the builders could say the cracks where due to the drilling if any appear.

These are the same height as Alex drawers, I have 1 Alex and 3 Adils on my desk

That's great think I will give those a go. Cheers

Had this setup too, before installing battens on the wall. They are also height adjustable at the foot.
Thanks sounds good to me.

I think you need some more gaming mdf in your life.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,232.50 (includes shipping: £22.50)

Should fit the space nicely, and even lighten your wallet at the same time.

That's nasty :D

I got this at the start of Covid lockdown for £180
'Office Hippo Professional Cantilever Office Desk, Wood, White, White Frame, 160 x 80 x 73 cm'
Along with '3 Drawers 5 Wheels Mobile File Cabinet Filing Pedestal Lockable Storage for A4 Metal Solid Pedestal with Keys' which was £100

The 180cm one is £190.
'Office Hippo Professional Cantilever Office Desk, Wood, White, White Frame, 180 x 80 x 73 cm'

Its great quality for the price, similar to the desk in my office (office is now at home) It fits my personal setup (Acer predator X34), micro monitor speakers, work laptop and 2x 24" works screens

I know, massively overpriced for mdf :p. OCuk 'launched' them, but then never actually got any stock which is interesting.

I've got an Ikea SKARSTA myself, great quality for a sit/stand desk. Nice top too. Similar £ to your desk.

I would build a wardrobe in that space and in your spare room use it as a gaming room.

One problem what spare room, it's a one bedroom flat. I'm not going to be having a wardrobe in the bedroom just outside the bedroom is a big cupboard that is housing a boiler well it's not a boiler it's a heater interface unit, in there i'm going to put up a clothes rail.

Do you have room to put a desk in your living area? Just thinking of how hot the flat will be during the summer. When I lived with my mother in law, my missus would go nuts at me gaming in the evening as my desk was in our bedroom too.

oh lol sorry! You could get a custom made desk there plenty room.

Cheers I will have to have a good think what I'm going to do with that space.

I did think about the living room at first but it's small, bedroom is the only place.

Cheers, well I guess I got no one to moan at me:D

Not yet ;)

Personally, if it were me I would put a smaller desk in your bedroom instead of the beast you have drawn out. I have a 1600mm x 800mm desk if my dedicated office now and that is pretty big. I used to have a 1200 x 600mm desk which was perfect in my old house. I think it will make your bedroom feel bigger without such a large desk in it and you may still be able to get a wardrobe / chest of draws in that space where your blue line is on the wall.
