Hi there,
This morning, I was working on my computer and there was a loud "bang" / "pop" sound followed by a strong electrical-burning smell.
I've looked at the motherboard and other components and I can't see any visible burn marks on any of the components. I've taken apart the the PSU and there seems to be some form of a burning smell. PSU is a Tagan TG430-U15.
What's the chances of it being the PSU? The reason I bought Tagan was for quality - will the other components still be fine?
Going to test the PSU now, but would appreciate replies anyway, as I've got 400GBs worth of data on that computer, most of which is coursework / essays (of which I'm obviously extremely keen to recover, if possible).
Cheers.

Tested the PSU. Plugged it into the mains, switched it on and 2 or 3 bright sparks followed by more bangs - so PSU it is.
Question still stands, what's the odds that the other components will still work?
Cheers.
