THIS FORUM WILL BE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE TOP 1% OF COMPUTERS.

Unless your intending to just concentrate on enthusiast grade computers then this is not at all representative of peoples computers, the ram most people are on is 128mb / 256mb and gamers are on 512mb rigs.

Enthusiasts are generally on 2gb ram, while recently upgraded normal people are starting to hit 1gb now.

These results will be useless to you if they are intending to be anything more than a look at what enthusiasts are going for.

Normal people are on anything from a P2 450mhz with 64mb ram up to around the 2000xp mark really. The lower end are now upgrading to newer computers. I know three P166mhz users who have just upgraded to a 3000+ A64.

The P2 400 / 450mhz crowd will be needing an upgrade to run modern software in a month or so as the computer will be incapable of running anything released with vista compatibility so they will go and buy a £400 computer package when the time comes.

People with SLI, 7800gtx and C2D overclocked rigs with high end water and phase are not representative of the real world in any way, we attract other members who are enthusiasts and who run enthusiast grade hardware.
