I got back from uni yesterday and fired up my main computer for the first time in a few months but it seems to have somehow developed a few problems.
Yesterday WMP11 / MSN wouldn't load and it was incredibly laggy, like it was on 100% CPU or had little memory or something. Eg, opening applications took ages or when closing windows they would just stay there with the close button highlighted for 10ish seconds then close, etc. Also the the little menu bit at the top of NOD32 v3 was just white - tried reinstalling but it didnt help.
Today, everything seemed fine for a few minutes. WMP and msn worked and it wasn't laggy. Then it got started freezing again - I can always move the mouse around the screen but cant click stuff when its lagging. I have task manager open and when I leave the computer for a min or 2 it seems to stop lagging but when I then try and do something it seems to go to 100% CPU, I cant really see this tho because taskmanager freezes and wont let me see what app is taking it to 100%.
That was probably a pretty poor explanation but any help would be most appreciated!
