Computer Lock Ups When In Game!

ok guys after reformatting my comp i just tried playing counterstrike 1.6 and for some reason after about 30 seconds of gameplay my comp suddenly freezes and i have to reset! i thought this may be something to do with a overclock on my cpu so i changed everything back to stock and still get the same thing!

any ideas on what could be causing the lock ups?

graphics card? maybe duff drivers?

see if any of you psu attachments are loose ...mine were and now im running smoothly

i'm on the 87.25 drivers, mite try installing different ones and see if i get the same problem! psu connections are fine, thing is i don't get any lockups when i'm normally using my comp, just when i start playing cs!
