Computer Overheating (Possibly)

70 degrees isn't too high for a gpu when gaming, what ssd are you using? Adding fans would probably lower the temps, ensuring you have good airflow throughout the case and their are exhausts aswell as intake fans.

if you google "cooler master 690 ii fan setup" you should get a few links. Personally I don't think its overheating that's causing your crashes if your temps are only reaching 70 degrees. Try monitor temps and see what it's like before a crash.

Is your GPU overclocked, and if so, try running games without the overclock and see if you still get crashes. Also are you sure your cpu overclock is stable prime95 for couple of hours?

probably gpu memory, try underclocking the gpu memory in ccc by 150% then retest

as for high gpu temps try taking off the graphic card cooler/heatsink and fan and clean all the dust out, wipe off old thermal paste with kitchen paper and apply some new

only do the above if your fearly confident in what your doing

Just a quick update I ran SWTOR with my GPU fan at 50% and it hit 96 degrees before I pushed it up to 70% as couldn't be bothered for it to freeze so must be an over heating issue. Would you to just add fans to increase the air flow?

Are you manually managing fan speed? Does it happen when fan set to auto on gpu?

More case fans might help but it might be an idea to tackle ambient temps in the loft ie open a window if you have one. But keep in mind it is the "height of summer" right now and you've picked the warmest place in the house.
