Computer randomly powers off

Recently rebuilt my computer after a few months after having to replace the radiator. Now in the past few days the computer has randomly cut off with no warning. Both these times I was playing Fable III but then again i've not done much else other than that since I rebuilt it. Could it be the power supply or something else? Also I noticed a couple of times after rebuilding it the bios would not remember my previous settings.

im pretty sure this is a psu issue. do you have a backup you could try

No I dont but i was thinking of upgrading it anyway, think the PSU is capable of handling my rig or just think it could be faulty?

i would say yes it is but it could be close. try and go for for a corsair 750w

It could be that when rebuilding your system you might not have reseated the ram properly. Try with one stick then the other by itself and see if the problem replicates itself.

The only things I done when rebuilding it were reconnect the waterloop and reinstalled the graphics and sound cards. Thanks for the help though

Sounds like the psu. Have you got a tester?

Havn't got a tester, how much are they? Also, would I be able to detect a problem using the tester if it only cuts off sometimes?
