Computer Restarting Randomly

Hey, I've had the Titan Goliath for just over a year now and it's decided to start playing up now that the warranty is out

I thought that it might be overheating so I've taken the cover off and I'm using my desk fan to cool it and it seems to be working. I looked in compmgmt and it says 5 kernel power critical events (that's how many times it's turned itself off).
I also ran a test to see what temperature it's restarting using speedfan and it last restarted when "temp3" was 50 C (that was the highest value) which seems unusual as my laptop doesn't restart until GPU is at 85 C
Can anyone help diagnose?

Update: whilst the desk fan was running and it was just idling it turned itself off again in the night and now it won't turn on at all.

When you say playing up before what dis you mean? Random restarts.

its always frustating when your tech starts to act up just after the warranty has run out

I'd bet on it being the PSU too. If the temps are ok, then the PSU is the next thing I'd check.

Give OCUK a call cos the PSU might still be in warranty, even though the system warranty has expired.
