Computer restarts every 5 seconds

Sounds similar to a problem i had a while ago, it turned out to be the CPU. I had bought a new motherboard and psu with no luck. If you have anyway of trying a different CPU give it a go.
 
A new motherboard has failed to rectify the issue, so it's either the CPU or PSU..

Ive managed to play BF1 since release without issues up until lastnight, my computer just restarted itself during a game, no BSOD. It's now in a restart loop when it gets to the Windows logo on startup.
 
It's frustrating more than anything! I don't have one at my disposal but I'm tempted to order one and try it out.

I just don't see how replacing the motherboard rectified the issue for a solid 1-2 weeks and now it's back :(
 
Very strange indeed.

That's the frustrating thing with intermittent faults. Just when you think you've sorted it, it happens again :(

I'd definitely suspect the psu next. Could be cpu or ram though.
