Its a tricky one. PSU maybe? do you have a PSU tester at hand? but I not sure is a failing PSU would restart or just shut off.

from this research it reinforces that it could be the psu - and no i dont have psu tester unfortunitely.

is it possibly that it could be the software?

well there's no real way of me checking if its providing juice or not because i haven't got the tester :/

Any red lights on the mobo when it does`nt boot?
Also try connecting ssd with the other sata power cable, the one you are using may have a dodgy connector or losse wiring.

sounds odd - but if you have any realtek audio devices in device manager it might be worth trying with them disabled. I've seen that solve all kinds of weird problems before.

Update the firmware on the M4 if you have not done so?

There is a know issue with the M4 after about 5000 hours of active use making the PC reboot.

update - its not the firmaware

i just updated no luck... there is a red light flashing on the front of my case. its flickering i believe it should be a steady blue light... however its flicking most of the time.

take a look at them sometimes when i try to start up the computer that stays a constant red and the computer doesn't boot
