Computer running too fast - Odd but true!

Hi,

Recently my pc has been running far too quickly. All of my games run at double speed its really frustrating! It gets solved by a restart some times but even that has started to fail me!

Anyone else had this problem?

Ooops yep the whole system spec:

Its an Dell Dimension 9150
Intel Pentium D 3.00 GHz
1024MB RAM
Radeon X600 (256Mb)(Omega 3.8.291 drivers)
Windows XP SP2 / DX 9.0c

The game im really having a bit of a head bashing session over at the moment is GTA:SA. The clock runs about 3 times too fast and the entire world seems to move at that speed too! Most frustrating. A restart used to fix it until this morning when no matter what it just keeps going like the clappers!!!

I have tried that but it doesn't seem to slow it down at all (It says cheat activated when i entered it). I then reloaded an old game to make it as if i hadn't entered any cheats. This still didnt change anything.

And im running an Intel system!
