I've got the computer up and running as I had a no display before but fixed it. I've updated the BIOS to F18 (Gigabyte Z77 D3H) and tried to install the graphics card and use the DVI port on the graphics card but it doesn't display anything but the computer is running, I'm currently connected to the DVI port on the motherboard

Also I've 8GB RAM but it says 7.89GB RAM is usable, what's happening?

How much RAM is the IGP using?

Think theres a setting in the BIOS to configure the amount it can use.

Can't remember if I said this already, you have plugged a 6pin power connection into the card?

Can you try the other PCI-E slot?

I'm fast running out of ideas, exhausted most of them in your other thread.

I've got the graphics card working, but when I plug in the sound card into the motherboard, I get no display, how do I fix this?

Also Windows is showing 8GB is usable!

Don't quote me on this but I don't not believe they work on modern systems or at least if they do a few people in the sound department were saying the same problem you've had and they got rid of the thing.

My only suggestion left is to post here - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18285360

And see if the Rep knows of the problem or can help you.
I've posted in there, hope I get a response soon

Can you link me to the topic please

The thread was quite old and has such been deleted. :(
Your best of asking in the Technical Section of the CS forum. Thats if your bought all the stuff from here.

Have you got bios settings correct?

IGP fully disabled (if possible) + onboard sound disabled.

Sorry for the daft question, but has caught me out before. :p

This.

& Audio Controller
Enables or disables the onboard audio function. (Default: Enabled)
If you wish to install a 3rd party add-in audio card instead of using the onboard audio, set this item to
Disabled.
& Init Display First
Specifes the frst initiation of the monitor display from the installed PCI graphics card, PCI Express graphics
card, or the onboard graphics.
Auto Lets BIOS automatically configure this setting. (Default)
IGFX Sets the onboard graphics as the first display.
PEG Sets the PCI Express graphics card on the PCIEX16 slot as the first display.
PCI Sets the graphics card on the PCI slot as the first display

Disable onboard audio and select Peg for Gpu and see if that works.
