Perhaps change your GFX for a x1950 as they are good bang for buck :) and as above, why not just get 2 DVD-RW's ? What make is the PSU going to be - make sure its not an OEM one - NEVER SKIMP ON THE PSU as it's the most important part of the computer.....

The PSU wouldn't be bad then, just as a comparison this would be an equal or slightly better system from OcUK (in most areas) but you have to build it yourself.

It's easier than you'd think to put the computer together yourself. There are tonnes of sites out there w/ videos to help, the sticky at the top of this forum is very good too. You should give it a go. :)

The X1950XT is a bit better than the 7950GT, it doesn't have as much memory but it is generally a slightly faster card from what I remember.

Building a PC is very easy nowadays, the usual comparison I use is if you can build a Lego model you can build a PC, parts just click together. There is of course a chance that you will encounter problems but this forum is normally pretty good at solving them one way or the other and as mentioned there are good guides available. If you don't feel confident though then £20 or so isn't a terrible price to pay for someone else to build it for you. :)
