hey, slight problem, i changed the res to 1440x800 on my 32" telly and it turns out it cant show the picture, i left it for the 30 secs it usually takes to revert but it appears to be stuck, this means no image... tried rebooting and no luck, ok in safe mode as it'll revert to 800x600 so is tere any way to change this in safe mode? thanks!

I think you could try it in VGA Mode (if its XP) this should work afaik, then change the res there.

on the F8/safe mode menu t the start you should also have the option for VGA mode.
This will boot into normal window @ 640*480 iirc

Think its called 'Enable Low Resoloution Video' in vista safe mode options.
