If your looking to play warzone than the 6800XT card beats the 3080 in it. Bear in mind COD is pretty beefy game to run but even so I wouldn't be wasting money on a 3090.

I guess the advantage is the 3090 is available right now whereas the 6800XT doesn't exist other than the few review samples floating around and while I would agree the 3090 is a waste of cash some people have the cash to waste and having a GPU right now as opposed to waiting 4 months would be worth it for some.

Thanks for the response @iamtheoneneo Seems like there is a complete lack of supply of any card at the moment, so guess I'll be waiting until early 2021 (at best) before looking into the 6800XT. My only thought with the 3090 was whether it then future proofs me for a few years as well.

Thanks @Joxeon The lack of supply of all cards seem pretty ridiculous, but then it's not just limited to pc components (see ps5, iphones etc). If the general consensus is the 3090 isn't worth it then I'll wait, certainly not looking to waste money for the sake of it.
