What it is I went to power on the computer, I heard a cling noise then nothing happened. Checked my cableing and it is ok. My keyboard lights up, and so does the mouse. Im lost for ideas.

Can you go back to the beginning please? Is this an entirely new PC? Did you upgrade the PC? If so, which parts were upgraded?

If only the motherboard was upgraded and you are getting no life at all, no fans, no nothing, then check the front panel connector (for power switch) is in the right position and the PSU switch on the rear is ON.

New motherboard. Have checked the front panel and the psu is on at the back.

Had a look at the CPU and found it was at fault, along with me. Because the cables touched the case. Should have not pluged them in. The were pushed in to the bottom of the case, and should have been disconnected.
