Hi,
I have set my power options so that the computer is supposed to hibernate after 60 minutes of inactivity. However it simply does not follow this instruction. Can anyone give me possible reasons what's stopping it from shutting it down? I'm on Windows 7.

I had the same problem, I'm guessing you have a wireless adapter, in device manager under network, right click and choose properties of your adapter, then under power management tick allow computer to turn off this device to save power, see if that works.

some programs (like utorrent) will prevent sleep from initiating, what do you have running?
