As I'm sure everyone knows the PC hardware trade show opens today in Taipei. So thought I'd start a thread so we can collate any interesting info spotted on the interweb:cool:

Asus have a Hydra equipped X58 "Immensity" board, looks interesting...

Personally I'm looking out for more Bulldozer info. so if anyone reads anything post it here!
 
Yeah just looked at the board. Only 2 slots seems a little strange. If you can mix the brands so you put a 5970 in and a gtx480...............what would that do??
 
Hmm that would be very interesting! Not sure what if any limitations Hydra has. I think I also saw mention of Powercolor using it on some of their GPU cards. Sure there will be lots more interesting stuff announced once the journalists have had time to write it up...

Oh and their is the Corsair 600T case which looks pretty nice :)
 
I belive some tablet PCs are due to be launched at that conference, as everyone seemed to decree that 2010 would be year of the tablet, it'll be interesting to see what the offerings are, and how they'll cope with the inevitable Apple advertising.

Hopefully they'll be better than the iPad, not a fan of Apple's controlling ways, hence I don't have an iPhone ;) I'm not keen on tablets or even laptops for that matter, despite using one now! Desktop hardware is what I'm hoping for and a better idea of what to buy in the next 1-2months....
