Anyone been to or seen coverage of the Computex 2013 expo?
I for one know the next PC case I am going to be buying, which was showcased at Computex (the Thermaltake Urban S71 Snow Edition) and it was great to see things like 4K resolution being slapped onto laptops and HDD's being made super-slim and durable for use in tablet PC's and then of course there were the crazy things like the waterproof motherboard from ASRock, the pump-less evaporation watercooling from Silverstone and the noise cancelling fans from Noctua. And did you see the size of their new cooler?!
It was also generally quite nice to see manufacturers such as TT Esports introducing affordable versions of things which had previously been priced at a premium such as mechanical keyboards with proper Cherry switches and Noctua introducing lower cost versions of their award winning fans.
The new offerings from Asus such as the M-ITX ROG board look incredibly promising as well. This years computex seems to have demonstrated that major companies have taken on-board peoples thoughts and filled in a-lot of the gaps which we wanted filled.
what were the highlights for you, and what are you particularly excited about?
Coverage of the majority of the major events and tech booths can be found here, and I am sure on various other channels, but I found these to be the most informative and entertaining to watch.
I'm still watching it, so if I have missed out something major, that would be why
