Get some sugary food inside you, will help you focus a bit more (may not help the waist line though)
Quite the opposite actually. Breathing exercises are actually the best proven form of brain stiumlation, more oxygen, more blood, more activity.
...and don't lean on coffee for an 'upper' either (yes I do drink coffee but not for a buzz).
Diet has a major part to play, if I get a chance later I'll post up some proper methods to get you active - yes I'm at work, and no I'm not posting here because I can't concentrate!
